| Admission route | The Bangladesh guidance states that HSC applicants need a recognised foundation programme before undergraduate entry. | International undergraduate applicants need a recognised qualification, relevant prerequisites and the required English evidence. | Use the international applicant route and programme-specific entry requirements on the official study portal. |
| Language evidence | Manchester does not accept a university medium-of-instruction confirmation as English evidence. Accepted tests and scores are specified by each course. | Melbourne requires course-specific English evidence through eligible prior study or an accepted test. An offer conditional on English remains conditional until the evidence is provided. | Universiti Malaya’s FAQ says IELTS UKVI is not accepted for admission in place of its required IELTS result. The required score differs by programme. |
| Cost planning | HSC students should budget for a recognised foundation before the degree. Manchester lists HSC 65% for consideration by INTO partnership foundations and 80% overall plus 80% in Maths and Physics for its integrated Science and Engineering foundation; these are different fee-bearing routes. | A foundation at Trinity College Foundation Studies in Melbourne is a separate paid stage before a bachelor’s degree. A Graduate Degree Package can add a later professional degree; cost both stages when relevant. | Universiti Malaya offers an October main intake and a March intake for selected programmes. International tuition is programme-specific; the current fee schedule is needed for a MYR budget. |
| Key distinction | Check the Bangladesh guidance first, then the requirements of the individual degree. | Compare the undergraduate degree with any intended specialist graduate study; they may be separate stages of your plan. | Do not confuse international admissions with the SATU route, which the official FAQ describes as for Malaysian citizens. |

From institution research to course choice
This tool compares twelve selected institution profiles; it does not rank them or represent every university. A university-wide summary cannot state the tuition, intake, test score or entry threshold for every course. Open the profile and the institution’s current programme page to complete your research.
01 / Check your route
Confirm how your Bangladeshi qualification is evaluated and whether a foundation or other preparation stage is needed.
02 / Compare the course
Read modules, prerequisites and assessment methods. Check that your subject background fits the actual programme.
03 / Verify the commitment
Read fee schedules, offer conditions and refund rules. Compare the full course budget before accepting an offer.
Turn a country comparison into a course shortlist
Choose programmes at the same study level and record the full duration, including any preparation stage. Match compulsory academic conditions first. Then compare the full budget, teaching language, location and the documents needed for each application. A country-level comparison is a starting framework; the final choice should be based on actual offers and course details.

Use a comparison to find your next question
The institutional summaries help expose differences in entry routes and planning. They do not supply programme-level admission decisions. If two columns appear similar, open the actual degrees and compare prerequisites, compulsory modules, assessment, campus and duration. The “differences only” view simplifies the table; it does not measure which institution is better.
A fair course comparison
| Match first | Then compare |
|---|---|
| Study level and award | Academic depth, modules and assessment. |
| Entry route | Any preparation stage and progression conditions. |
| Intake year | Current fee schedules and deadlines. |
| Budget period | The full cost through completion. |
| Applicant category | Requirements that actually apply to your background. |
Keep a decision log
Write one sentence explaining why each shortlisted option remains relevant and one question still to resolve. Remove options that fail an essential condition. Save official answers with dates and reconsider the shortlist if fees, timing or your academic results change. A saved university is a research choice, not a submitted application.
