Step by step from Bangladesh
- Apply to your school
University, graduate school or language school.
- Send COE documents
Your school applies to immigration; 1 to 3 months.
- Receive the COE and pay tuition
The school sends the COE.
- Book at VFS Global, Gulshan-2
The embassy no longer accepts applications directly.
- Submit your application
COE, admission certificate, fee receipt, records and financial documents.
- Collect your visa
5 to 10 business days; pay the fee once approved.
- Get work permission
At the airport or a regional immigration office.
Work rules
Work is not automatic; you need separate permission. From April 2026, language schools must regularly check students’ workplaces and hours. After graduating, the job-hunting status gives up to 1 year in 6-month steps.
