University of Auckland rankings

| QS Best Student Cities 2026 | Auckland is listed among the world’s best student cities |
Popular courses and international fees
Auckland sets fees before each calendar year. These are the 2026 international fees; 2027 fees are published on each programme page when confirmed.
| Course | Length | International fee a year, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Bachelor of Science | 3 years | NZD 47,221 to 58,009 |
| Master of Information Technology | Depends on your earlier degree | NZD 55,214 |
The range for the Bachelor of Science depends on the courses you choose. Check the fee on the page for your own programme, because professional degrees such as engineering are priced separately.
Admission requirements for Bangladeshi students
| Level | What Auckland asks for |
|---|---|
| Bachelor’s | Requirements are listed by country and programme. Bangladesh is one of the countries in the selector on each programme page. Other qualifications are assessed individually |
| Bachelor’s English | IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band |
| Master of Information Technology | A bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, such as computer science, information systems or software engineering, with a GPA of 4.5 |
| Master’s English | IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0 |
Auckland converts overseas results to its own 9-point grade scale, so a GPA of 4.5 is not the same as 4.5 on a Bangladeshi 4-point or 5-point scale. Use the university’s calculator or ask admissions how your CGPA converts.
