  3. Apply for the Academic Excellence scholarship

    It needs its own online application after you have applied for an eligible bachelor’s degree.

  4. Apply for the Student visa (subclass 500)

    The visa fee is AUD 2,500. You show tuition, travel and AUD 29,710 in living costs for the first 12 months.

Living costs in Sydney

Sydney is Australia’s most expensive city for rent.

For the visa, Home Affairs uses a living-cost figure of AUD 29,710 a year for one student, on top of tuition and travel. The visa fee is AUD 2,500.
