Trinity College Dublin: yearly intakes

Trinity’s degree programmes start once a year, in September. Deadlines differ by course, and the most popular master’s programmes close in January.

IntakeClasses startApply byOpen for

How to apply and key dates

  1. Confirm your fee status

Trinity decides EU or non-EU status by residency, not nationality. Students living in Bangladesh apply as non-EU.

  2. Bachelor’s: apply direct to Trinity

Non-EU applicants use Trinity’s own application, not the CAO. For 2026 entry the Computer Science deadline was 1 May 2026; check the course page for the 2027 date.

  3. Master’s: apply on the course page

Popular courses close early. The Computer Science master’s closed on 30 January 2026 for 2026 entry.

  4. Accept your offer and pay tuition

Ireland’s visa rules ask you to pay at least €6,000 of tuition before you apply for the visa.

  5. Apply for the Irish study visa

Applications from Bangladesh are decided by the Irish visa office in New Delhi. Show at least €10,000 for living costs.

How much are Trinity’s fees for Bangladeshi students?
