Compare the same criteria
| Planning area | Malaysia | Australia |

| Academic suitability | Check the programme’s entry criteria and how your previous qualification is assessed. Confirm the awarding institution, campus and teaching language, especially when considering a branch campus or jointly delivered programme. | Compare course entry criteria with your completed qualification. Check subject prerequisites and the institution’s English-language policy. Ask the admissions team about any preparation or pathway course before paying a deposit. |

Decide what affordable means for you
Compare full-course cost in BDT using the same exchange-rate date. A shorter course, different city or different living arrangement can change the result. No country is ranked here as the cheapest or easiest for a visa.
Take your research further
Turn a country comparison into a course shortlist
Choose programmes at the same study level and record the full duration, including any preparation stage. Match compulsory academic conditions first. Then compare the full budget, teaching language, location and the documents needed for each application. A country-level comparison is a starting framework; the final choice should be based on actual offers and course details.

Compare a lower annual fee and a shorter complete route using a real course
Write down a named course, entry route and intake for each option. Check whether you need preparation study and how long the entire route takes. A national overview cannot decide which course fits your academic record. Keep a question log rather than filling unknown fees or requirements with assumptions.
A simple decision exercise
| Priority | Evidence to compare |
|---|---|
| Academic fit | Prerequisites, compulsory modules, assessment and progression. |
| Committed budget | Whole-route tuition, living expenses and payment dates. |
| Workable timing | Document readiness, actual deadlines and remaining offer conditions. |
| Personal fit | Campus, housing, travel and the learning environment. |
Reconsider when the facts change
A scholarship decision, a different entry route or a delayed result can change the comparison. Update both the budget and timeline before choosing. Do not assume that a preferred destination makes every available course suitable, or that a low cost compensates for an academic route that does not meet your goals.
