Schemes that have closed

Destination Australia, which funded study at regional campuses, has had no new funding rounds since 1 July 2024. Existing recipients keep their awards, but new students cannot apply. Be wary of guides that still list it.

Plan without assuming an award

  • Prepare your visa funds without counting any award you have not received.
  • A tuition scholarship does not reduce the AUD 29,710 living-cost figure.
  • Many university awards are automatic with an offer, so apply early.
